LOUISVILLE 2010 I: A night of firsts

Owned and bred by Fischer Sisters LLC of Anchorage, KY, I'M FIRST BORN bested a field of 19 yearlings to capture the World's Champion ASR Futurity Of Kentucky title. She was presented by Mark and Whitney Bodnar, noted Morgan trainers, making their first appearance in Freedom Hall. This also marks the first World's Champion offspring of our multi-titled World's Champion stallion, I'M FIRST. The flaxen mane and tail filly is out of WC Simbara’s Cara Mia, a full-sister to our famous broodmare, WGC CH A Sweat Treat. Adding to the story, Cara Mia won this very same class back in 1995 with Carter Cox showing for owner/breeder Dr. Simon Fredricks.

On Wednesday, NOBU captured the Reserve World's Champion Open Harness Pony Stallion/Gelding class with John Scheidt on the lines. Nobu is trained by Rich and Maureen Campbell at Majestic Oaks.
